Student Health Service offers a variety of health care services to help you live well, feel good, and achieve your goals. Our family doctors and registered nurses can help you take care of your physical and mental health so that you’re able to have the best university experience possible. Specialists such as psychiatrists are available upon referral.

AMS Sexual Assault Support Centre

AMS Sexual Assault Support Centre (SASC) is committed to the education, support, and empowerment of people of all genders who are survivors of sexualized violence as well as their friends and family. We serve UBC students, staff, faculty, and people with a connection to the UBC campus through various resources and services.

Peer Support

The Kaleidoscope UBC

Confidential, student-run mental health support group that provides a safe, stigma-free environment for individuals living with mental illness or general mental health concerns. Drop-in for some friendly support and free food.

The Wellness Centre is a friendly, welcoming space for you to ask questions to trained students about things like safer sex, how to manage stress, eating well and sleep.

AMS Speakeasy

University is an extremely challenging and stressful time for everyone, and Speakeasy was established to provide a non-judgmental, supportive ear for students and faculty members who are feeling distressed. One-time only drop-in referral service.

VICE will aim to become your support system, whether you decide to achieve abstinence or find your balance with alcohol, drugs, and technology use. The tools that VICE will provide are educationpeer dialogue, and mentorship.

Through educational outreach campaigns and a variety of informational resources, VICE will offer students the knowledge that they need to make informed decisions about their substance use patterns.

AMS Safewalk

Safewalk is a transportation service that will accompany students, staff and visitors who feel unsafe walking alone, across campus. The primary goal of Safewalk is to allow safe travel from one location to another with a greater sense of security.
